Sabina doesn't just stop at Netball, we are also a proud Cricket family. 

Over at Sabina Cricket Club, we are friendly, sociable and inclusive club open to cricketers of all ages.

Few Caribbean Cricket clubs have survived over the years but one that continues to go from strength to strength is Sabina Cricket Club. The club was founded by a group of eight Caribbean immigrants in Peckham in July 1964. Originally called the All Star Cricket Club, it changed it's name to Sabina in 1966 when one of its founders,the late  Joseph Bryan, tried to register with the CCC and was advised that it might be mistaken for a showbiz team. Being Jamaican, he looked no further than the legendary Sabina Park cricket ground in Kingston for inspiration, and the die was cast. 

Sabina played initially in the rather rough and ready surrounds of Dulwich Park, and had nets on Peckham Rye. But from the outset they were able to build up an impressive fixture list across the South of England. Nowadays, the Club plays at Blackheath Wanderers Sports Club and the strength of the club led way for the birth of Sabina Netball.
