First Win for Regional Team in Division 1

A fantastic match for our regional team on Saturday saw their first win in regional division 1.
From the beginning, we were very prepared, we knew what was expected of ourselves as individuals and as a team. Our ability to identify when an injection of energy was needed at critical times was something we did really well and we really utilised the whole squad to achieve a consistent energy throughout the game.
Defensively, we got stronger and stronger as the game progressed with through court defence and attack resulting in a massive number of turnovers going to goal. Within our units we took ownership and were able to adapt our play in a calm and collected way.
From the beginning of the match we kept gaining momentum and went from strength to strength. The match concluded with a final score of 65-34 🎉 POTM went to the incredible Chevelle for her top-notch shooting! Congratulations 🎊
In our second game of regional 1, this play was against a side that entered into this division 1 a whole season before us and we absolutely smashed it. This can only be the start of something special as we continue through the season.
