Regional Squad Give Essex Open a Challenge

On Saturday the 5th of November Sabina Regionals took on Essex open. Starting slow our girls were down in the first quarter 14 - 8 to Essex however they were able to even out the scores during the second quarter 9 - 7 to Essex and ending the first half with a score of 23 - 15 to Essex. Our girls were efficient at moving the ball down the court into the circle. The circulation of the ball from defence to attack kept us in the game and our Sabina girls effectively used the transverse line to reset their game play. During the last two quarters Sabina came back in full force ending the third quarter with 12 - 10 to Essex however despite a hard fight the game ended 50 - 34 to Essex. Our girls showed some excellent passages of play and worked well together, let’s keep up the positivity and fight continuing the season regionals! Well done to Vanessa for winning players player!
