1st Squad Take Victory Over Harmony

The 1st team have had a fantastic start to 2022, having won both their matches and maintaining their position in 1st position in NWKL DIVISION 2.

The match against Harmony was a very wet and windy match - difficult playing positions meant we had to bring our A game and execute a strong, clinical passage of play to combat the elements. We took our time in the first half of the game, making sure we were sussing out how hard we could play; the first half went goal for goal the majority of the time while we found our feet.
In the second half of the match we put our foot on the gas, going full pelt defensively and in attack to turn over balls and convert them to goals. Harmoney's shooters were accurate when the ball got to them so we made it our aim to prevent the ball reaching the oppositions circle and my oh my did our defence nail it. The game concluded with a score of 42-24 to our 1sts, with Vanessa getting POTM for her awesome work in defence 🎊
