Sabina Comes Second in North West Kent Summer League

A fantastic end to the KNWL this Tuesday evening as Sabina secured a final win against CFX.
We started strongly, securing many goals despite some challenging Umpiring resulting in penalties for our side. We kept our heads high and adjusted to maintain a lead, ending the first half 14-9 to us.
The second half saw a few changes, bringing a new, fresh dynamic to the court. Defence worked well to turn over balls in the defending circle and mid Court and were able to accurately get the ball down the court to capitalise on the mistakes of CFX to obtain a goal. Overall, we would still like to work on ensuring we are making clear, decisive drives towards the ball however this improved as the game progressed.
The game concluded with a 32-19 win for Sabina, securing our position in 2nd place (falling short of 1st position only on goal difference).
Our player of the match this week was the awesome Chenelle. As usual, she played with a cool, calm and collected manner and ensured the game went our way by turning over multiple balls and communicating with other team members. Congratulations Chenelle!!
Well played to every single player in the NWKL this season! We'll see you in the Winter League!
